A 10 year journey of reform, the Torres and Cape Health Care (TORCH) Commissioning Fund aims to achieve health equity by shifting the way health care is funded and delivered across the Torres Strait, Northern Peninsula Area, and Cape York region. TORCH drives structural and systemic transformation, embedding local leadership, decision-making and self-determination into regional health systems to improve health system effectiveness, efficiency and equity.
