Next January will officially be the fifth anniversary of our coffee mornings. The first event held on January 16, 2015 was called the Indigenous Business Networking – Friday Coffee Morning. I positioned the event under the SEQICC and it was held at my local cafe Open Book Cafe on Brisbane’s northside.

I had a vision that regular coffee mornings where we could get together, build relationships and connections, relatively inexpensively. A few years later we partnered with TRIBN and renamed our events Black Coffee (thanks to Thomas!).

Since that time we have continued to grow Black Coffee. Iscariot Media has invested in building on this original vision.

While we haven’t kept statistics from the very beginning, our stats are looking pretty deadly:
